Terms
1. About these Terms
These Terms form a binding agreement between you and Vetnio AB, Swedish company registration number 559494-6807, Grev Magnigatan 10, 114 55 Stockholm, Sweden ("Vetnio", "we", "us"), concerning VetsGPT. By creating an account or using VetsGPT, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Notice, and the Acceptable Use Policy.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into this agreement. If you use VetsGPT for an employer or other organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to bind that organisation.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate account information, keep it current, protect your credentials, and promptly notify us at support@vetnio.com if you suspect unauthorised access. Your account is personal and may not be shared or transferred.
You are responsible for activity through your account unless caused by Vetnio's breach of its legal obligations.
3. Permitted use
Subject to these Terms, Vetnio grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use VetsGPT for lawful veterinary research, education, and decision support. You must comply with the Acceptable Use Policy and applicable law.
You must not submit personal or confidential patient, client, employee, or third-party information. Use only the minimum non-identifying clinical context needed for the question.
4. Clinical and AI limitations
VetsGPT is an AI-assisted research tool. It does not provide veterinary care, a diagnosis, a prescription, or a substitute for professional education, examination, clinical judgment, or the veterinarian-client-patient relationship. It is not an emergency service.
Outputs and citations may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, misleading, unavailable, or unsuitable for a particular case. You are solely responsible for independently reviewing sources and verifying doses, contraindications, interactions, local authorisations, regulatory requirements, and all material clinical decisions before relying on an output.
5. Your content and outputs
As between you and Vetnio, you retain rights you hold in content you submit. You grant Vetnio a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, process, reproduce, and transmit that content only as needed to operate, secure, maintain, and improve VetsGPT and comply with law, as described in the Privacy Notice.
To the extent permitted by law, Vetnio assigns to you any rights it may have in outputs generated specifically for you. Outputs may not be unique, and other users may receive similar outputs. This does not transfer rights in VetsGPT, third-party sources, trademarks, or other third-party material.
6. Intellectual property
VetsGPT and its software, design, branding, documentation, and underlying technology are owned by Vetnio or its licensors and protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited right to use the service, no rights are granted to you.
You may provide feedback. You grant Vetnio a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free right to use feedback without restriction or obligation to you, provided we do not publicly identify you without permission.
7. Availability, changes, and suspension
VetsGPT is provided as a beta and may be changed, limited, interrupted, or discontinued. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, preservation of saved chats, or continued availability of any feature, source, or usage allowance.
We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect users or the service, investigate suspected misuse, comply with law, enforce these Terms, or manage the beta. Where appropriate, we will provide notice and a reasonable opportunity to remedy the issue.
8. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, VetsGPT is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties, representations, or guarantees, whether express, implied, or statutory, including as to accuracy, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, or results.
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or warranties that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vetnio is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive loss, or for loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill, data, or anticipated savings arising from VetsGPT.
Vetnio does not exclude or limit liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or death or personal injury caused by negligence. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to VetsGPT, law, security, or our business. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes through the service or by email where required. You may be required to accept an updated version before continuing to use VetsGPT.
11. Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by Swedish law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes shall be resolved by the competent courts of Sweden, except where mandatory consumer law gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
Questions about these Terms may be sent to support@vetnio.com or Vetnio AB, Grev Magnigatan 10, 114 55 Stockholm, Sweden.
